God’s expectation from any nation is their righteousness and sense of humility! His ears are always open to the prayer and cry of the righteous over issues of concern. 1Pet 3: 12.
In order to turn the table against the wicked in the land we must come together in prayers. Nehemiah though in his comfort zone in a foreign land never forgot to pray for the rebuilding of the broken walls of Jerusalem; he prayed for the help of God (Neh. 1). It’s time for sons and daughters of Africa in foreign nations to arise and rebuild the broken walls of African economy, image, and politics on the altar of the truth and prayer.

God has always looked for a people (a man) to stand in the gap to deliver and to heal. It’s this quest that led to the likes of some prophets such as; Noah, Abraham, Moses, Nehemiah, Joseph, Elijah etc., and ultimately Jesus Christ. Is. 59:16.
The role a of deliverer was exemplified by Moses in recovery of Israelites from the land of Egypt– Ps. 106:23. God averted famine in the land of Egypt by using a man called Joseph (Joseph) Ps 105:17.
The Diaspora as seen in the Continent of Africa cannot come to a reunion without the intervention of spiritual force which must be borne out of a conscious efforts and sincere determination by her People. This is the reason why Man’s position has become cardinal and pivotal in the agenda of God in repositioning the universe. The need for a people to stand in the gap has been God’s agenda since creation.

It’s this quest to deliver man from destruction that made God to send Jesus for atonement. God is still looking for a man to stand in the gap to avert the destruction imposed upon the continent of Africa through her poor and tyrant leadership, corruption and deprivation of the average citizenries.
The Prophet Jeremiah in Jer. 30:12-13 – For thus saith the Lord, Thy bruise is incurable, and thy wound is grievous. There is none to plead thy cause, that thou mayest be bound up: thou hast no healing medicines. Nations have gone into captivity because none was found to stand in the gap. Ezekiel 22:30,

It’s time for us to remember our nation Ps. 137:5 even in prayers in order to take control of the land thereby averting the devastation designed through poor leaders. As seen in, Hos. 6:4, Lack of knowledge has turned my people into captivity (paraphrase). The good news is; when we pray for the land, there will be a return and a restoration Jer. 30:3, 2Chron 7:14.
